Writing Services For Reseller Internet Marketing Consultants

Posted on January 2012

This year, I’ve launched a new service designed specifically for internet marketing and business consultants – website writing packages for them to offer their clients.

With these packages all communication, including briefing and delivery, is through the consultant.

Internet marketing consultants and business consultants. have for some time been offering done-for-you website building and SEO. In getting their clients’ websites up and functional however, there has been a services gap: the writing of the copy to go onto the pages. It is this gap that my new service aims to fill.

If you are a Consultant, and would like more information on accessing this service, please contact me.

Used and Abused: Copyright, Ethics and the Online World

Posted on February 2011

writing online, copyright online, seo content, digital copyrightI’ve got a feeling that this post will probably prick the conscience of some readers, and hopefully may educate others.

There will, I have not doubt, be those who will shrug it off and continue to use the work of others for their own marketing purposes, with little or no respect for the effort that the originator of the work devoted to its creation. Read the rest of this entry »

Can’t Get Your Head Around Sales Copy?

Posted on September 2010

I have to admit, I’ve had this problem.  I’m not a born sales person, and I really dislike the long, drawn out sales pages that internet marketers use.  But that’s me – and if there’s one thing I’ve learned about writing for internet marketers: it is NOT about me.

The reason that sales copy works as well now online as it ever did in TV and print ads, is easily explained – great copywriters get inside the heads of their targets.  They are able to stir the emotions of those people, and lead them through a carefully crafted process – to the point that they are oh, so ready to hit the ‘Buy Now’ button. John Carlton Is Coming To Sydney – I’m Excited!

Posted on August 2010

I’ve been looking forward to FastWebFormula2 for some time, as it is going to give me a fantastic opportunity to share some my latest SEO content writing strategies – with those who have been able to secure a ticket.

But one of the other reasons I am so excited about heading down to Sydney in September, is that some very special guests are flying in from North America, Switzerland and the UK, to add their expertise to this event – James Schramko’s internet marketing workshop. Read the rest of this entry »

Copywriter or Content Writer?

Posted on September 2009

I am a content writer. I write SEO website pages, articles and blog posts. I know how to do this, and I’ve been told I’m pretty good at it.

I also know what I am not – yet. And that is a copywriter. Copywriters are the people who put together those (usually) very long sales letters that are constructed in such a way as to create many buying opportunities throughout their reading. I understand the concepts – I know I need to identify problems, solve them, empathize with people with that problem, make them an offer they can’t refuse, include bonuses and guarantees. I know this.

john carltonA little while ago I had the pleasure of meeting the world’s greatest living copywriter, John Carlton. In fact, I had a few beers and dinner with him, and his business partner Stan Dahl in both Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia – and I had in the two weeks leading up to that night, heard John speak in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

John is a gifted speaker, a raconteur, and a really smart man to boot – and demonstrates to his audience that he really knows his stuff.

John says that all copywriters are salespeople, and that those of us who aspire to be good copywriters need to understand what we are selling: “It’s not the thing, it’s the result” he says.

Learning copywriting from John Carlton would be an opportunity not to be missed, so when I heard that John was going to open up a Simple Writing System home mentoring program, I had to get more information – and I will be sharing this with you as information is released.

I think it’s time I stepped out of my comfort zone, and enlisted the support of John Carlton’s Simple Writing System – what about you?
