John Carlton Is Coming To Sydney – I’m Excited!

I’ve been looking forward to FastWebFormula2 for some time, as it is going to give me a fantastic opportunity to share some my latest SEO content writing strategies – with those who have been able to secure a ticket.

But one of the other reasons I am so excited about heading down to Sydney in September, is that some very special guests are flying in from North America, Switzerland and the UK, to add their expertise to this event – James Schramko’s internet marketing workshop.

In my mind though the highlight will be seeing the amazing John Carlton again, and hear him cut through the BS of copywriting,  taking people by the metaphorical hand and guiding their commitment finger “Buy Now” button.

John Carlton is a genius copywriter and he can help your business get more profit – just by making some changes to the way you do things.

John has been called “the greatest living copywriter” and “the most copied copywriter”, but what he is, simply, is a master of his craft.

If you are not familiar with John and his work, you will really enjoy this interview (link below), during which he reveals:

  • The BEST way to research your market
  • What has changed in online marketing
  • How to be persuade people to buy right now
>> Listen to the John Carlton interview now!
If there are any tickets left for the high level internet marketing training offered at FastWebFormula, I encourage you to seize the opportunity to hear John Carlton live.

Great news! I’ve been wanting to learn from John Carlton for a long time. He is a true master of the copywriting art. Thanks for sharing the news of his being in Sydney in September. I want to earn the big dollars that copywriters can get! As well as improve my blogging style.

    • Kerry says:

Amy, you won’t find a better teacher than John Carlton. I too want to improve my copywriting skills – I know how to assemble great SEO content, but copywriting requires a whole different skillset.

I enjoyed listening to the interview – JC sounds so cool, very laid-back. In fact it sounded like a competition in laid-backness (I’m sure that must be a word) between James and John. I loved to hearing these strategies. I’ve heard several of James Schramko’s interviews with experts, and he really knows who the top dogs in internet marketing are. Thanks for sharing news of John Carlton going to Sydney, unfortunately I can’t get there.

I’d like to think that after getting some of his training, I might make it to Australia next time!

    • Kerry says:

      Jessica,
If you ever get the chance to hear John, grab it. I’m not sure where you are based, but he speaks from time to time in the US, where he lives.
      Regards
      Kerry

Looking forward to this! Interview was sensational and now I can wait to hear John Carlton live. Do you know if his presentation will be available online for purchase? I’ve got some colleagues who would benefit from his teachings as well.

I run a small business from home, and my biggest problem has been writing seo articles. How to market them, how to write them etc. Will a copywriting course like John’s help me?

    • Kerry says:

      Ron,
John’s training will benefit you in many ways, but if its only SEO article writing you need help with, I can help you.

Firstly, time spent on identifying your keywords is a worthwhile investment. Set aside some time to write one really great article, with lots of information in it (but not so much that a reader won’t need to go to your site for more!). Ensure your keywords are placed: in the heading, in the first and last paragraphs, and once more, in the article. Don’t fill the article with keywords. Apart from those key ingredients, you should also include subheadings and bullet points to break up long sections of text.

Write for humans, not search engines. If you follow these points you should have a nice ‘pillar’ article to base others on. Extract a different point from the pillar article to create a new, perhaps shorter article. Rinse and repeat.

Always have a call to action – in ezinearticles this would be in your Resource Box. Tell people what to do next, don’t assume they will click your link.

Hope that helps – for greater training: http://www.seocontentcoach.com.

      Regards
      Kerry

It’s a small world after all.

Who would have thought Kerry the copywriter is the same Kerry who’s the go to girl for James event… he said you run an awesome show.

    Looking forward to it.

  13. James says:

I am relatively new at internet marketing. Article writing or content for anything has been my greatest weakness. Surely wish I could attend his training classes. If they are available on dvd, where can I find them?
