Successful internet marketers have realized the value of submitting online Media Releases, and rightly so – they are extremely powerful for both traffic and links:

There is a knack to writing a press release and the different distribution services will provide varying results.

I like to offer two packages for Media Releases:
1. Supply only of Media Release
Allowing clients to try their hand at the submission process (it’s not as easy as you would imagine, particularly for the premium services)
2. A comprehensive service that includes:
- Crafting the release
- Using correct layout principles to load it to a premium distribution service (high level newswire service), including quotes, images and links
- Liaising with editorial staff (established relationship)
- Modifying the release to create a second version
- Submitting this to another service (blog news networks and social bookmarking sites)
The price for either service rests with the business niche concerned. For example material on a highly technical or medical nature, that requires more research time, may incur an extra premium.

‘Traditional’ Offline Media Releases
For Australian clients I am pleased to offer a more traditional press release distribution services, via my account with the premium PR Network in the country. This service is particularly useful for making announcements that are Australia-specific, even State-specific, as it is possible to distribute your release to just one state if you choose.
The release will go to every capital, state and local newspaper, radio station and TV station in the nominated states, but its pickup will be dependent upon the newsworthiness of the release and subject to journalistic whims. Nothing is guarateed!
