SEO blog posts are ideal for providing fresh content to your website. The great thing about blogs is that you can have months’ or years’ supply written in advance, on general topics related to your niche, and have them ‘scheduled’ to publish once or twice a week – a real ‘set and forget’ way of adding relevant and unique content to your site. They are particularly good for ongoing affiliate marketing projects.
General topic blog posts can be as short or as long as you like, but a minimum of 300 words, I believe is most worthwhile. This gives you enough room to include some vital information about the product or services, just enough for the reader to want to read more and clicking a link to go to your sales page, squeeze page or affiliate site.
